LFO High School is located in the mountains of Northwest Georgia in Fort Oglethorpe in Catoosa County, Georgia. Fort Oglethorpe is approximately 15 miles southeast of Chattanooga, TN and 100 miles north of Atlanta, GA. We are a Region 7AAA school with approximately 1000 students.
The LFO Warrior Marching Band and Color Guard Auxiliary have been performing during the half-time shows for LFO Warrior Football for over 50 years. The first Warrior band began with 25 members and has grown to more than 100 members.
The LFO Band program has outstanding concert and jazz bands. These bands consistently receive superior ratings for their performances at GMEA Concert Festivals. The band members are active participants in the Georgia All-State Bands, District Honor Bands and Solo & Ensemble Festivals. The concert bands perform their pre-festival concerts in March and a year-end concert in May. We invite the community, our supporters, friends, and families to come and enjoy the sounds of our wonderful bands. Watch our calendar for performance dates and times.
